في الإصدار 16 من نظام التشغيل Android، تمّ تقديم قسم جديد باسم
أمان شبكة الجوّال في مركز الأمان ضمن
الإعدادات. يحتوي على قسمَين فرعيَّين كما هو موضّح في الشكل التالي:

الإشعارات
في هذا القسم الفرعي، يتيح زر تبديل عرض إشعارات النظام أو يوقفه عندما يكون جهاز المستخدم متصلاً بشبكة غير مشفَّرة أو عندما يتبادل الجهاز مع الشبكة معرّفات الجهاز، مثل رقم التعريف الدولي للمشترك في خدمات الجوّال (IMSI) أو رقم تعريف الجهاز (IMEI).
يظهر زر الإيقاف/التفعيل إذا كان مودم الجهاز متوافقًا مع الإصدار 3.0 من IRadio وواجهات برمجة التطبيقات التالية الخاصة بـ IRadio.
عند تفعيل هذه الميزة، يتلقّى المستخدمون إشعارات كما هو موضّح في
الشكلَين التاليَين.
إشعار الاتصال غير المشفَّر
عندما يتصل الجهاز بشبكة غير مشفَّرة، تظهر الرسائل التالية
لكي يتمكّن المستخدمون من اتّخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة للحدّ من المخاطر. يؤدي النقر على
الإشعار إلى نقل المستخدم إلى "مركز الأمان" حيث يمكنه الاطّلاع على المزيد من
التفاصيل.

عندما يتصل الجهاز بشبكة مشفَّرة، يظهر الإشعار التالي:

عندما يتبادل الجهاز مع الشبكة معرّفات الجهاز، مثل IMEI أو IMSI، يظهر الإشعار التالي ليتمكّن المستخدمون من اتّخاذ إجراءات وقائية. يؤدي النقر على الإشعار إلى توجيه المستخدم إلى
"مركز الأمان" حيث يمكنه الاطّلاع على مزيد من التفاصيل.

جيل الشبكة
يحتوي هذا القسم الفرعي على نقاط دخول إضافية لتفعيل شبكة الجيل الثاني لكل من بطاقات HIM في الجهاز. يؤدي تفعيل أو إيقاف كل زر تبديل لشبكة الجيل الثاني إلى تفعيل أو إيقاف ربط شبكة الجيل الثاني
للشريحة المعنية في الجهاز. يعرض كل زر من هذه الأزرار
الحالة نفسها لزر شبكة الجيل الثاني المقابل له ضمن إعدادات شريحة SIM في
الإعدادات.

يخضع كل من المحتوى وعيّنات التعليمات البرمجية في هذه الصفحة للتراخيص الموضحّة في ترخيص استخدام المحتوى. إنّ Java وOpenJDK هما علامتان تجاريتان مسجَّلتان لشركة Oracle و/أو الشركات التابعة لها.

However, these notifications are helpful if the device is frequently exchanging device identifiers that might be related to surveillance scenarios.\n\nNetwork generation\n------------------\n\nThis subsection contains additional entry points for 2G toggle for each of the\nSIMs in the device. Each 2G toggle enables or disables device's 2G\nconnectivity for the respective SIM.
