ב-Android יש פרופילים לבדיקה שניתן להוריד כדי לבדוק את הטמעת הרדיו במכשירים שתומכים ב-eSIM. למפתחים שצריכים להוריד פרופיל בדיקה שמוגדר ב-TS.48, Android מספקת מנגנון ב-SM-DP+ כדי להקל על ההורדה של פרופילי בדיקה עדכניים. כשבודק סורק קוד QR של פרופיל בדיקה, ה-SM-DP+ מורידים את פרופיל הבדיקה למכשיר היעד. מכיוון שלא הוגדרו כללי מדיניות להורדות או לפרופילים, אין הגבלות על מספר ההורדות או על המכשירים שיכולים להוריד את הפרופילים. במכשיר שבו מורידים את פרופילי הבדיקה צריך להיות אישור בדיקה שהונפק על ידי GSMA CI.
