Android menyediakan profil pengujian yang dapat didownload untuk menguji penerapan radio
perangkat yang mendukung eSIM. Untuk penguji
yang perlu mendownload profil pengujian yang ditentukan dalam
TS.48,
Android menyediakan mekanisme di SM-DP+ untuk memfasilitasi download
profil pengujian terbaru. Saat penguji memindai kode QR untuk profil pengujian, SM-DP+ akan mendownload profil pengujian ke perangkat target. Karena tidak ada
aturan kebijakan download atau profil yang diterapkan, tidak ada batasan jumlah
download atau perangkat yang dapat mendownload profil. Perangkat
yang mendownload profil pengujian harus memiliki sertifikat pengujian yang diterbitkan oleh GSMA CI.
