Android udostępnia do pobrania profile testowe do testowania implementacji radiowej urządzeń obsługujących eSIM. Testerzy, którzy chcą pobrać profil testowy zdefiniowany w TS.48, mogą skorzystać z mechanizmu w platformie SM-DP+, aby ułatwić pobieranie aktualnych profili testowych. Gdy tester zeskanuje kod QR profilu testowego, SM-DP+ pobierze profil testowy na urządzenie docelowe. Ponieważ nie ma żadnych reguł pobierania ani zasad dotyczących profili, nie ma limitów dotyczących liczby pobrań ani urządzeń, które mogą pobierać profile.
