For building and contributing to AOSP, we recommend utilizing android-latest-release instead of aosp-main. Monthly device updates are an important tool to keep Android users safe and
protect their devices. This page contains the available Android Automotive OS
(AAOS) Security Bulletins which supplement the Android Security
Bulletins with additional security patches, providing fixes for possible
issues affecting devices running AAOS.
Sources
AAOS devices start receiving OTA updates on the same day the monthly bulletin
is released. Patches listed in the AAOS security bulletins can come from various
sources, including: the car manufacture, the Android Open Source Project (AOSP),
the upstream Linux kernel, and system-on-chip (SOC) manufacturers.
